Hidden away on a valleyside are 3 award-winning, fully equipped safari tents sleeping up to 6 people each in the historic village of Bickleigh-on-Exe near Tiverton, ideal for a group holiday you can book this whole site for yourselves.

Locally there is plenty for all the family to enjoy! Take a trip to the Devon Railway Centre where the children can burn off some energy at the soft play centre after seeing a model railway. Alternatively visit the local National Trust properties of Knightshayes or Killerton, where you can enjoy the period features and beautiful gardens before having a bite to eat at their onsite cafes. Or simpy visit the coastline and spend a day at one of the many beautiful beaches that Devon has to offer.

Back at Valleyside Escapes, there are 3 safari tents, Oak, Maple and Birch. Each has amenities including hot water, electricity, wifi and shower rooms, so this is glamping at its very best! There are 2 main bedrooms, one with a kingsize and the other a twin, plus a cabin bed which is perfect for 2 children. A kitchen area has everything you need to cook a basic meal, however why not treat yourself to dinner at the local pub which is less than a 5 minute walk away before returning to watch the sun set from your veranda. Alternatively, you could try out one of the popular and delicious paella meal kits, ingredients supplied so you can cook al fresco, with the added bonus of no washing up! There is a small children's play area which they will have to themselves with a bespoke mud kitchen, swing, slide and tyres and beams to climb on, plus plenty of space to run around and for older children and the whole family there is a boule court.

There is an on-site courtyard bar open for glampers every Friday night.

One large or two small well behaved dogs are welcome per tent subject to a £15 charge each.
