Description

Brú Moytura offers a fabulous space for groups for retreats/ workshops/ team building. Perfect for tiny C19 appropriate weddings or a broad space for special family reunions, birthdays, naming ceremonies.

Looking out over Lough Arrow & five counties this 100ft wide wooden edifice is aligned to 3 solar events pointing toward the megalithic cairns of Moytura, Carrowkeel and Queen Maeve's tumulus on top of Knocknarae.

The main central hall is ideal for meditation and yoga or shape your own wellness retreats. The centre of the hall holds a wonderful fire pit with seating area around it, a perfect place to sit and while away a few hours. A large kitchen is available for self-catering guests. By the end of 2020 there will be sauna too!

Rooms: 6 x bedded dorm/ 5 bedded dorm, 4 bedded loft dorm/ 2 double rooms/ 9 x curtained cubicles hug the main circle plus upon request two leaders' rooms a little apart. Bathrooms are shared.

Outside you can explore the herb and fruit garden and the 360º views of the surrounding hills. There is also an outdoor fire area with a fire pit.

Built from recycled and sustainable wood and insulated with sheep's wool, this eco-lodge also has toilet water filtered through a reed-bed system. The space and water is heated from geothermal heat from the land boosted by a combination of our own wind turbine power + Airtricity windygrid power.

Locally you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, surfing and kayaking!

Prices vary depending on special requirements, activities and length of stay. A guide to the prices is €1250 for up to 20 guests for a minimum 2 night stay. Once Covid vanishes you can book for up to 30.
