Relax with your loved one in the peace and tranquility of the Perthshire Hills, close to Gleneagles in one of 3 luxury yurts or 2 cabins on wheels, all with wood-fired hot tubs. Located in the 2 acres of grounds of Alexander House.
Locally you can enjoy a round of golf at Gleneagles or pamper yourself at the spa. The adrenaline seekers will rejoice in the huge choice of activities in the area including canyoning, clay pigeon shooting, fishing, highland safari tours, kayaking and horse-riding to name a few. Alternatively enjoy a spot of sightseeing with Drummond Castle Gardens just a short drive away.
Yurt Heather sleeps 2 and can be found in a peaceful corner surrounded by its purple namesake, a great location from which to enjoy the bubbles of the hot tub whilst throwing a few sausages on the BBQ and enjoying a spot of al fresco dining. Inside you can find a comfy king size bed, cosy wood burner and en-suite yurt bathroom with flushing toilet and roll top bath, this is truly glamping at its most luxurious! Other facilities include an induction hob with kettle, perfect for that all important morning cuppa, a fridge freezer in which to chill your favourite beverage, lights and charging sockets with USB points, so you can stay in contact if you wish, plus electric blankets in case it turns chilly.
Yurt Bramble sleeps 2 and can be found sheltered beneath a massive Scots Pine tree and has amazing views over the surrounding countryside from its private deck. Enjoy these views from the warmth of the hot tub whilst putting the world to rights with your loved one, or simply sit back and relax and listen to the sounds of nature around you. It has all the same facitilies as Yurt Heather including the en-suite bathroom.
Yurt Rowan - Available May-October sleeps 2 to 6 guests. With her own private hot tub, private Pony Trailer bathroom with double shower (equally perfect for a romantic shower for two, or for hosing down muddy children), proper flushing loo, washing up station, and ample space inside. Kick back, chillout and relax for a few days! Dogs welcome.
Cabin Juniper sleeps 2 adults and 2 children, plus 1 dog and has its own private hot tub. Sheltered by the Scots Pine trees this well converted horse lorry now offers a cosy stay for a family looking to try something different. Inside you can find a queen size bed and a tucked away smaller bed in the cab area for 2 little ones under the age of 10. A gorgeous clawfoot bath is the perfect place to relax after a busy day and the cabin even has a flushing loo and kitchenette too! Outside you can enjoy dining al fresco whilst the children enjoy the swing, hammock and open space with wood fired hot tub.
Cabin Thistle sleeps 2 adults and 2 little ones (under age 10) with a private hot tub! Inside there is a fold down queen size bed, comfy sofa and dining area, shower room with flushing toilet and galley kitchen with gas cooker, fridge and all cooking utensils. If bringing the little ones, there is a perfect den space for them to sleep above the lorry cab! Outside you can enjoy dining al fresco or relaxing in the wood-fired hot tub.

Weddings are also available, from just the two of you in Juniper to intimate weddings for up to 18 in Alexander House to exclusive use weddings in our orangery and marquee for 20-120.
No children or pets in Yurts Heather and Bramble. There is a walk of 100 metres from your car parking space to the yurts.
Dogs are welcome in the other accommodations at a fee of £25 per stay.
There is a minimum 2 night stay off peak. However at peak times there is minimum 3 night weekend during high season, and 4 night midweek stays. Mon / Wed / Fri arrivals. Please note there is wifi in the main house but not in the yurts, although the 4G is very good!

Can I park next to my property?There is a walk of about 100 metres from the car park to the properties. The glamping site is along a gravel track so low slung cars are not recommended.
Do you provide wood for the hot tub?We provide enough logs for the first night. Additional logs are available at £10 per box.
