The peaceful setting for this romantic Shepherd's Hut for 2 with private hot tub is in Dorset is at the heart of Thomas Hardy country.

This stylish Hut was designed and built by the owner based on the traditional hut designs. Its fresh interior and contemporary lines make this a uniquely spacious and stylish glamping holiday. There is a well designed interior with a log burning stove for cosiness which also doubles up as a hob and oven, plus a sink with solar powered hot water and a cool box for those essentials. A cosy seating/dining area is a great place to plan your day or to sit with a good book. The bathroom can be found in a separate cabin just behind the hut and has a modern composting loo and hot water shower. Locally sourced eco friendly toiletries are provided.

Outside you can relax on the raised decked area watching the world go by, tucking into your complimentary breakfast hamper which consists of much of the farm's produce including sausages, bacon and homemade bread! Of an evening the fire-pit is a great spot for night time chats and star gazing before slipping into the warmth of the wood burning hot tub.

Locally there is plenty to do, including a breadmaking course at a nearby flour mill, a yoga course at Fontmell Magna or a day trip to the Jurassic Coast just a 40 minute drive away. Alternatively if you love a little adventure why not treat your loved one to a Tiger Moth flight at Compton Abbas airfield!

No children. Up to 2 dogs welcome. Parking is in a nearby field, 40 metres away.

There is a minimum 2 night stay. Closed November to mid February.
