This eco friendly family-run business is located in the hills of the Leitrim countryside. It offers self-catering accommodation for those looking for a healthy and relaxing break. Ard Nahoo is a stunning retreat set in the wild untamed landscape.

Onsite, there is an outdoor hot tub and sauna and glorious gardens. The hot tub area can be privately booked. The 6 acre site includes the Celtic Nature Trail, The Wise Woman Mandala meditation garden, 2 wildlife ponds, an orchard and meadows. A simple rustic playground suitable for younger children completes the picture.

The accommodation is in charming eco cabins - Hawthorn sleeping 3 and Holly and Willow sleeping 7. They are eco-friendly wooden buildings, finished with natural paint, wrapped in cedar cladding and hemp insulated. In addition they are heated with wood pellet stoves, powered by wind turbine electricity, built with minimal concrete and no petro chemicals and a fully furnished with antique finds.

All of the cabins come with a fully equipped kitchen, shower and toilet, organic welcome pack, amazing mountain views and their own private deck. The bigger cabins also have a BBQ and a picnic table each. If you don't fancy cooking you can order delicous vegan food to be delivered to your cabin. Or, go out and enjoy a meal in the village or the town.

Ard Nahoo offers all sorts of day packages, personal retreats and even healthy hen parties. There are various different types of Anusara Yoga and relaxation retreats too. Yoga classes and courses take place in the stunning yoga studio overlooking the frog pond. The entire facility and spaces perfect for private retreats and family/friend celebrations. Events can be fully catered or self orchestrated.

Just a short distance away is the historic village of Dromahair where you can visit pubs, shops and restaurants. If you love your sports then locally you can try canadian canoeing, kayaking, fishing and swimming in the river and lake plus cycling and walking is always a favourite too. Just down the road you can visit historic buildings of Parkes Castle and Creevylea Abbey in Dromahair and within 40 minutes you can find yourself at many beaches with Ireland's leading surfing spots only a hop away. Theatre, the arts, music, great food and more await you in Sligo or Carrick town.

Ard Nahoo offer stays from 2+ days. Prices start from €330 for two nights in Hawthorn Cabin (sleeps 3) and €595 in Holly and Willow (sleep up to 7). A week's stay in Hawthorn Cabin is priced from €595 with a week's stay in Holly and Willow starting from €895.
