Argus cottage is an operational lighthouse on the north Cornwall coast within a Site of Special Scientific Interest & an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Established in 1900, the now 2 bedroom property is well suited to a romantic retreat with its stunning views over the ocean from the warmth of the living room.

Spread across the ground floor with gas central heating to keep you cosy, there is space for 3 people with two beautifully decorated bedrooms, a double & single. There is a well equipped modern kitchen, utility room and the dining area which has stunning sea views. There is a lovely comfortable sitting room, the perfect place to relax around the electric effect wood burning stove after a long day exploring. There is also a modern bathroom with bath/shower and separate WC. To the outside there is a large walled patio to the rear of the property with stunning panoramic views with an abundance of wildlife.

The lighthouse is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and there are an abundance of small seaside towns with teashops, cafes, shops & restaurants. Sandy beaches such as Whitesand Bay & Gwynver are only 15 minutes away and it's 2 miles from St Just and only 6 miles North is Land's End. During your stay you will have the opportunity to see lots of sea and coastal wildlife and if you are lucky you may see some seals on the rocks below.

Minimum 3 night stay. Travel cot and highchair available on request. No smoking. Up to 2 well behaved dogs welcome at a small additional charge per dog. The lighthouse does not has a fog signal.

Guests should be aware that the lighthouses and equipment need regular and sometimes emergency maintenance. Therefore visits by maintenance staff may occur at any time during the year. Whilst the cliff edge is protected by a 4' high wall, due to the location of the light house, please ensure that children are supervised at all times.
