Description

Ash Tree Howf is a romantic and unique glamping tree house that sleeps 2 adults. You can find it on a slice of Scottish heaven near Dunblane - a great spot for exploring central Scotland or sitting back and enjoying the views.

The Tree Howf has been lovingly created by the Father and Son team of the family, set around an ancient ash tree. Inside, there is a handmade rustic king size bed with soft bed linen and a huge star gazing window above. As this has no blinds to it, your body will attune to the natural rhymths of the sun-rise.

A wood-burning oven will keep you warm and toasty, whilst the uniquely shaped dining table offers a place to eat and plan your day. When it comes to cooking there is a hob and small oven plus an antique Belfast sink with hot and cold running water which lets you wash up in style. The shower room is part of the treehouse where you can appreciate everything whilst washing away your day, whilst downstairs you will discover your designer eco friendly compost toilet.

With privacy and fantastic views overlooking the lochan and the Ochils, you can enjoy this gorgeous setting looking out the windows or from the viewing platform with heart shaped table for romantic dining. A fire pit and BBQ area is accessed via a small staircase.

There is plenty to do in the area with great access to main roads and railways. Take a trip to the leafy Causewayhead Park where you can admire the trees and take a stroll to the Wallace Monument - the views are definitely worth the climb. Just a short distance on you can visit the 12th century Stirling Castle and former palace where you can enjoy an interactive experience inside and out.

No children or pets. Strictly no smoking inside this treehouse property.

The Ash Tree Howf has a minimum 2 night stay with anyday arrival. Closed in winter.
