The Aylsham Windmill was built in 1826 and was a working flour mill for almost 100 years. Derelict for more than 80 years, it was converted by the current owners into comfortable self-catering holiday accommodation for 6 people. The accommodation is on 4 floors linked by proper stairs.

This is a fully equipped property with full kitchen and open plan lounge, 1 double (king) bedroom with en-suite, and another double and twin room sharing a bathroom. There is a private walled patio garden with furniture and gas barbeque. Gas central heating and hot water.

The mill is situated on the outskirts of the historic market town of Aylsham. The town is the centre of a rural community of scattered farms and villages set in beautiful rolling countryside. Being only 10 miles from the city of Norwich, Wroxham and the Broads, and the coast at Cromer, it is the ideal base from which to explore North Norfolk, Broadland and the miles of beautiful sandy beaches. Bure Valley steam railway is close by and the mill is 100 yards from Marriotts Way cycle trail and the network of footpaths which are linked to it.

Regret that pets are not accepted. Everything you need is included: Washing up liquid, tea towels, bedding, towels etc. WiFi at least 20mbps download. (More details on their website).
