Ballyhannon Castle is a 15th century celtic castle in Quin, Ireland that sleeps up to 10 people. Joint with the adjacent Coach House it sleeps 25. This medieval castle has all of its original features plus all of the modern fixtures and fittings necessary. Another one of its great attributes is its central location - close to all local amenities and activities, only a 10 minute drive from Shannon Airport and just over 2 hours from Dublin. All of this makes Ballyhannon Castle the ideal venue for large gatherings such as birthday parties, anniversaries and weddings.

The castle is in a superb location. There are plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops close by plus it is near to The Burren, Connemara and The Cliffs of Moher. Nearby activities include golf, fishing, horse riding, walking, shooting, hunting, cruising, scuba diving and surfing.

Ballyhannon Castle offers accommodation over 5 floors. On the ground floor is a dining room, a well equipped kitchen and a WC. Across the other 4 levels are 3 king size bedrooms with antique 4 poster beds, 1 family room with a double bed and bunk beds, a sitting room and 2 bathrooms. There are futons to sleep extra people. Facilities in the castle include electric heating, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, iron, electric oven and hob, CD, radio and hairdryer.

The adjacent 19th century Coach House has been lovingly restored and maintains original features such as exposed stone walls and wooden beams. On the ground floor of the house is a large living area, kitchen, dining conservatory, reading lounge and TV lounge which can be converted into a bedroom with disabled access as it has its own shower room. Upstairs are 2 double bedrooms, 1 family room with double bed and bunk beds, and a room for 5 with king size bed and bunk beds (double on bottom and single on top). The Coach House's facilities include washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and grill, gas hob, iron, telephone, TV, video, CD, radio and hairdryer.

1 night in the Coach House sleeping 15 people costs 1500€, 2 nights 2000€, 500€ per night thereafter. A night at Ballyhannon Castle for 10 people is priced at 2250€, 2 nights 2750€, 750€ per night thereafter. A night for the Castle and the Coach House (sleeps 25 people) costs 3500€, 2 nights 4500€, 1000€ per night thereafter. If you book a week you get 1-2 nights free of charge depending on the time of year.
