Barnacles is a luxurious waterside apartment for two in Fowey, Cornwall. The cosy interior and stunning river scenes makes this apartment perfect for a romantic getaway. The building itself was previously a chandlers, where transactions took place from boats moored alongside the decking.

To get to the entrance there is a flight of stairs to go down from the street level entrance. The apartment has been furnished to feel snug and home-like with a luxury finish. Inside there is an open-plan well equipped kitchen, small dining area for two & sitting room area kept cosy with remote-controlled electric wall fire plus a TV for your entertainment needs. The area has double glass doors leading to the outdoor balcony area with seating & table overlooking the river, the perfect spot to enjoy al-fresco dining whilst watching the world go by. From here you can also access steps down to the sandy water's edge. The bedroom has a 5' king-size iron four-poster bed, perfect to chill & watch the wall mounted flatscreen TV. There is also a luxurious en-suite bathroom with walk in tiled power shower & a large free standing bath ideal for a soak after a busy day exploring the local area.

Please note, the passageway into Barnacles has shared access with the freeholder, who very occasionally uses it.

Fowey is an ancient and characterised town containing many interesting small shops as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes, make sure to try the traditional Cornish cream tea. From the town there is also access to sandy beaches such as Par & Polerris and cliff tops in easy walking distance.

A small baby in own moses basket is welcome. There is no designated parking however you can drop off cases outside the apartment and daily parking can be purchased nearby.

No pets allowed. 2 night minimum stay with 7 night minimum stay & Sat arrivals in July & August.
