A charming 3 bedroom cottage at Start Point lighthouse, positioned on the edge of a cliff with spectacular sea views from many of the cottage's windows. It is located on a headland above Start Bay in the South Hams. Sleeps 6.

The rooms consist of 3 double bedrooms (2 of which can be converted into twin rooms), a sitting room with TV, DVD & CD player, a well equipped kitchen, dining room and a bathroom. Oil central heating and an electric effect woodburner keep the cottage warm & cosy. Outside there is a decking area with garden furniture that allows a great view out to sea.

Start Point is 4 miles along meandering country lanes from the main road from where you can easily travel to further away places and the neighbouring villages. Within a 20 minute drive there are sandy beaches such as East Portlemouth, Slapton and Blackpool Sands.

Exceptional scenic walks can be taken in both directions along the headland - be careful of the cliff edge at all times. There are also lovely cycle routes and water activities that can be done in the area. Please note the lighthouse is open to visitors from Easter to October.

No smoking. No pets. Babies under one year of age are welcome, however for safety reasons, children must be over 11 years old. Travel cot and highchair can be provided upon request.

3 night minimum stay. Saturday changeover day in July & August.
