Get away from it all just outside of the quiet countryside village of Anslow and relax in a traditional Mongolian Yurt with hot tub! Sleeping up to 6 people the yurt is set in a spacious enclosed field and offers year round comfort thanks to a woodburning stove.

Beaumont's Hideaway Yurt - can be found at Gate Farm and offers glamping at its best. With a gorgeous double bed, plus comfy seating, dining table and blue decor, it is perfect for a romantic retreat or a family getaway (day beds can be added!). There is no electricity which adds to the traditional camping feel, but the glow of the woodburning stove will give you warmth and light in the winter months.

In the summer, you can enjoy cooking on one of the outdoor BBQ options or you can choose the large Finnish BBQ hut which is available all year round but perfect for grilling even in winter. If you prefer, you can use the fully equipped communal cooking cabin, with large electric range and shared fridge. Here you can also find a locker where you can charge your devices. Your private luxurious bathroom with large shower and WC is just a short stroll from the yurt.

There is an outdoor play area for children including playhouse, swings and a slide and chance to feed the farm animals too.

Located close to the Peak District, you can enjoy a morning walk and then stop off at the market town of Ashbourne before visiting the brewing town of Burton Upon Trent, famous for its Bass beer. If you want to shop till you drop, then Derby is close by with its large shopping centre. Families can enjoy local activities such as the National Forest Adventure Farm, and Alton Towers and Monkey Forest are only a short drive away.

Up to two dogs welcome with a fee of £30 each per yurt per stay.

Single nights are possible Mon-Thurs.

Additional adults charged at £25 per night and children charged at £15 per night with a maximum of 6 guests.

Do you supply logs?

We provide 1 crate of logs, plus kindling, firelighters and matches for your woodburner. You can buy extra on site.

What time can we check in?

You can check in between 2pm and 2:45pm or between 3:45pm and 8pm.

Is there a restaurant on site?

There isn't a restaurant, but there is a takeaway cafe offering bacon or sausage baps, salmon bagels, avocado toast plus pizzas, chips, hot dogs and burgers.

Where can I charge my phone?

Yurts are off grid but there are charging lockers in the cooking cabin.

What do you offer for dogs?

We offer onsite dog grooming, daycare and dog walking as optional extras.
