Bishop Rock is a modern welcoming cottage located at Lizard lighthouse on the southern most tip of Britain, which offers a rural stay for 4 people near Helston. Lizard Lighthouse is a fully working lighthouse which was first established in 1619.

On the ground floor of the cottage is a spacious well equipped kitchen & dining area and a gorgeous sitting room with electric wood burner effect stove to keep you warm whilst looking out at the sea views. The family bathroom is also on this floor and has a shower & bath, perfect for a long soak after a busy day.

To the first floor you can find both the beautifully decorated bedrooms which have amazing sea views, there is a 5' king-size bed in one & twin 3' single beds in the other.

Outside you can relax in your enclosed courtyard and listen to the sound of the sea and birds around you.

There are plenty of stunning coastal walks on the doorstep. Locally there is lots to see and do including the famous Lands End or a trip to historic St Michael's Mount. Lizard Village is nearby which has plenty of shops, restaurants & a welcoming pub which is only a 1/4 mile away. Be sure to stop off at a tea shop and treat yourself to a traditional scone, jam and cream too!

Guests should be aware that the lighthouses and equipment need regular and sometimes emergency maintenance. Therefore visits by maintenance staff may occur at any time during the year. However, staff will do their best to ensure guest privacy at all times. This is an operations lighthouse with an automatic, electric fog signal. During occasional periods of fog and mist, ear plugs are provided for your comfort.

Minimum 3 night stay, with a 7 night minimum in July & August and Friday arrivals. No pets. No smoking. Travel cot & highchair are available on request.
