Description

Hidden away on the edge of Loch Garry, this beautiful log cabin with private hot tub sits quietly in a secluded woodland. Sleeping 4+2 on a sofabed, this is a great getaway for family and friends. Hangout at the water's edge in the raised funky pod for Cabin guests.

Only an hour's drive from Inverness airport, the cabin is located close to Invergarry, where you can visit the town's castle ruins. A little further away in Fort Augustus, you can take a boat ride and keep your eyes peeled for the legendary Loch Ness monster!

Closer to home, you can relax at the edge of Loch Garry, which is only a short walk from the cabin, or enjoy a stroll through the woods and lose yourself in nature. There is no Wi-Fi available in the cabin, but 4G coverage is excellent in the area, it is a good opportunity to cut yourself loose from technology and enjoy the simplicity of life. The cabin itself is eco-friendly but luxurious with a snug feeling to it helped by the log burner and underfloor heating.

A master bedroom with a luxurious king-size bed, a large en-suite wet room and patio doors that lead out onto a deck that overlooks the Loch and woods. The gallery-style twin bedroom has a bathroom with an oval bath and an added double sofa bed, this comfortably sleeps 4 adults and 2 children or 2 adults and 4 children. A well-equipped kitchen and dining rooms mean you can eat inside the cabin or if weather permits, you can use the BBQ, pizza oven, smoker or fire pit and relax in the woodland style dining area. With the use of canoes, kayaks, two paddleboards and a rowing boat, you can explore the loch before relaxing those aching muscles in the large cabin hot tub!

Children welcome and well-behaved dogs welcome with certain restrictions applicable. No wifi.

Yes, you will need a car to access the local area as there are no local taxis and the bus and train links are not local.

What is your smoking/vaping policy?

Smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere inside the property at all.

Is there an outdoor kitchen?

Yes, we have a large quality gas BBQ and wood fired pizza oven available for use, plus an outdoor kitchen/firepit area too.
