Camp Katur is a glamping village with many types of accommodation. There are Safari Tents, Bell Tents, a Tipi, Unidomes (the UK's only 360 degrees panoramic Woodland Hide Unidome), Hobbit Pods and Geodomes, Bear Place Eco Lodge. Each accommodation comes with individual furnishings and accessories making them truly unique and quirky.

The camp is located within the beautiful Camp Hill estate in between Ripon and Bedale. The villages of Kirklington and Carthorpe are just 1-mile walk away and here you will find 2 pubs serving hearty food and refreshing beverages. Historic Market Towns such as Bedale, Masham and Ripon, the stunning Spa town of Harrogate and great Cities of York, Leeds and Newcastle are all nearby and are a great attraction in the area.

In the Glamping Village there is a communal Toilet and Shower block, communal Kitchen Hut with cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, hot and cold water, seating area, gas camping cookers, Hot and Cold running water, undercover communal seating area next to the Kitchen Hut, Musical Instruments, a large communal Camp Fire, 16ft Communal Tipi in the meadow, fire Baskets, BBQs and Seating provided outside every abode, a Recycling Point, Little Tinkers Toy Den, communal blankets for seating outdoors, a mini Library and even hammocks are available for use during summer months.

Bell tents 'Emperor' and 'Tinker Bell' can sleep up to 5 in each tent with 1 double bed, 1 double sofa bed and 1 single sofa/Z bed. Furnishings include a log burner, 1 x Basket of logs, 1 x pack of Fire Lighters & Matches, candles, fairy lights, cushions, a lantern plus outside Table and Chairs. For 2 guests prices start at £60.

Hobbit Pods are cosy, family friendly wooden pods nestled within a lovely woodland setting facing out towards the large Meadow on the West side of the Glamping Village. Each pod consists of a bunk bed, single built-in day bed, single Z bed, gas heater, tea light candles, hot water bottles, storage, a lantern, lighter / matches and outside Table/ Chairs. For 2 guests prices start from £45 a night.

There are 2 hand-made Unidromes at the site: Meadow Hide Unidome sleeping 3 quests and Woodland Hide Unidome sleeping 2 (a 360 degree clear panoramic Dome with stunning woodland views all around). Both have beautiful quirky interior designs/ furnishings as well as all glamping essentials. For 2 guests prices start at £70 a night.

The Teepee sleeping a maximum of 4 has 1 double sofa beds, 2 single camp beds, gas fire, candles and lighter/matches, cushions, torch, outside BBQ and Fire Basket and outside table and chairs. Please bring plenty of your own bedding. For 2 guests prices start at £60 a night.

Safari Tents: Zaniah sleeps 6 and Jabba and Afia both sleep 8. Each tent benefits from its own private toilet and shower shed, log burner with 2 hob stove & oven, a basket of logs, box Fire lighters & Matches, double bed, 2 bunk beds, a Sofa bed (Jabba & Afia only), leather Sofa & Cushions, kitchen area, cutlery & Crockery, Pots and pans, dining area with table and chairs, solar lighting, hot running water, an outside BBQ & Fire Basket and outside Table & Chairs. For 2 guests prices start at £100 a night.

2 luxury Geodomes can sleep up to 4 in each. Both Geodomes have their own private bathroom with hot gas shower, and a kitchenette area with all the essential equipment provided, a log burner, basket of logs, box Fire lighters & Matches, double bed, 2 single futon/Zbeds, candles, fairy lights, hot running water, outside BBQ & Fire Basket plus, outside Table & Chairs. Prices from £80 for 1 night.

Bears Place Eco Lodge can sleep up to 4 guests, it comes with its own private bathroom, kitchen, living room and dining area as well as its own private wood-burning hot tub. Prices start from£140 per night.

All accommodations come with their own BBQ and Fire Pit. Onsite is an Eco Spa with a wood burning hot tub and sauna available or private hire and there is also a Nordic indoor BBQ Cabin also available for private hire. The Orangery Cafe in the Estate serves a delicious selection of hot and cold snacks.

Extras available for hire include - Bedding inc duvet, pillow and sheets: £10.00 per person. Towels Hand and Bath: £4.00 per person. Travel Cot: Free

A maximum of 2 dogs per accommodation is permitted for £15.00 per dog. The Glamping village is off-grid (no electricity). Children over the age of 10 pay adult rates. Minimum of a 2-night stay.
