Casa Encanto is situated in the mountain town of Monchique, Portugal. It is in a quiet pedestrian street and has been caringly renovated to keep its traditional layout and features. The owners are ceramic artists and have used many of their pieces to add a quirky touch to the home.

It is actually only 40 square meters in space but is spread between 2 floors. The floors and stairways have original oak floorboards, ceilings are wooden too. The main bedroom on the first floor is grand/shabby with a glass chandelier, leads on to a cosy sitting area. The second floor kitchen has a typical chimney space, there is a second small bedroom on the second floor for a 3rd guest or a quiet place to watch over the town and forest view. There is a bathroom on the top floor with separate room with a view and WC.
