Description

Traditional 19ft yurt sleeps up to 4 guests (max 4 adults) on a 10 acre family run site in the beautiful countryside and hills of mid Wales, just 15 minutes from Welshpool.

Inside Cherry yurt there is a comfortable double bed and two single day beds ideal for the children. A woodburner keeps the yurt really cosy, whilst electric fairy lights and lamps and plug sockets allow you to holiday in comfort. Your private bathroom facilities can be found just a short stroll away and consist of a powerful walk in shower, sink with hot running water, heated towel rail and a posh compost loo.

Outside you can dine al fresco taking in the views at your picnic bench using the supplied BBQ by day and at night sit around the fire pit and toast some yummy marshmallows. Firewood for the woodburner and campfires is provided with no additional charge and can be collected at your leisure from the woodshed. Be sure to bring a ball or frisbee with you as there is plenty of space to run around and have fun. Alternatively explore the site with its tree swings - great fun for all ages. Just a short stroll from the yurt you can discover the communal kitchen with 2 gas hobs, electric oven and private fridge. Here you can enjoy dining al fresco on the covered terrace area or cook up a storm on the patio area with pizza oven and brick BBQ.

Just a short 2 miles away you can disover the nearby town of Llanfair Caereinion which can be reached via a public footpath across the Welsh fields. This is a great way to work up a thirst which can be quenched in one of the 3 pubs. Whilst here you can pick up a tasty treat from the bakery or convenience shops before strolling back to your yurt. During your stay a visit to Lake Vyrnwy is a must, whilst Powis Castle and Gardens can be found just a few minutes away by car and offers a great afternoon out.

Children welcome. One dog welcome at an extra cost of £20 per stay.

Low season min 2 night stay. In high season there are 4 night stays with a Monday arrival and 3 night stays with a Friday arrival, plus 7 night stays. Closed in Winter.

Bedding is available to hire or you can bring their own. You need to bring your own towels and are advised to bring a good torch, wellies or other waterproof footwear and slippers for inside the yurt.

It is between 50-100 metres depending on your yurt.

No, but there is good 4G signal
