Conway's Old Bar is Ireland's first self-catering pub and probably the only one in the world.

Walking through the door into Conroy's Old Bar is just as you would expect any Irish rural village bar to look like. It's not until you look a little closer, that you begin to realise all is not as it first seems. Conroy's Old Bar no longer holds a liquor licence and so has been very discreetly converted into unique and quirky self-catering accommodation sleeping 4.

Retaining all of it's charm and character, the highly polished mahogany bar with it's optics and bar pumps and original till, now has a fully functioning kitchen neatly hidden behind it. A welcome hamper is provided upon your arrival.

The cosy lounge with it's open turf fire and array of pub games, has all of todays modern conveniences, but they too are neatly hidden away. The old snug is now a double bedroom with en-suite and the old cellar/barrel store is now home to a super kingsized bed.

There is a large shower room and outside to the rear of the pub, you will find a covered smoking area and large beer garden with seating and BBQ areas, with views of the Tipperary countryside; a great plce to watch the sun go down. There is also a Fairy Garden where children can spend hours of fun hunting for fairies.

Conroy's Old Bar is best suited to those who have a love of the great outdoors. Those who would like to experience the true beauty and tranquility of the Irish countryside whilst staying in an authentic Irish village pub. With watersports, fishing, boating, sailing, golf, walking, cycling, horse riding, photography, astronomy, arts, culture and even genealogy to be found locally.

Due to the quiet rural location of Conroy's Old Bar it is not suited to those who wish to party all night at the bar.

2 night minimum stay. Prices are €200 for 2 nights for 2 adults, each additional adult is €50 per adult per night up to a maximum of 4 adults. €10 per child per night Prices include all fuel and electric. Linen and towels are provided.
