Independent wooden lodge for up to 6 guests, hidden in ancient bluebell woodland set within 400 acres of the South Downs National Park, combines a back-to-nature setting with stylish accommodation.
Inside you can find a double bed, 2 single camp beds plus a quirky mezzanine level with 2 single futons, great fun for children that are confident enough to climb the tree to reach them! The lodge is kept cosy warm with a Godin woodburner plus there is some comfy seating for when you want to chill out. Outside you can find out own alfresco kitchenette including a tripod cooking system as well as a two-burner gas hob. A private hot water shower and loo completes the lodge.
All basics for the kitchen are included, such as a storm kettle, cookware, crockery and cutlery. You will however need to bring sleeping bags if using the futons and camp beds! As such the lodge can suit a romantic getaway for a couple or can be a fun place for a family to stay.
If you’re looking for a zero-waste staycation that’s off-grid and dog-friendly we might be the solution! You can reach us easily by train to Petersfield, one hour from London.
Private footpaths lead to two dog-friendly pubs, and to a pick-your-own farm with cafe. Relax in the woods tending your fire or pond-dipping while the children explore safely. Or opt for one of our visiting instructors to visit your yurt for private workshops - bird-watching, basketry, foraging, fly-fishing, bushcraft … we have nearly a decade of experience in matching our guests with the perfect specialist instructor who will tailor their skills to any age or group. Just let us know in good time and we can make it happen.
