Deep in the Kent countryside, 3 miles from the High Weald town of Tenterden and tucked away at the top of a secluded cottage garden sits our luxurious hideaway yurt . This unusual B&B; is a perfect retreat, especially if you are looking for a wedding night, short break or just something a little special and out of the ordinary. The yurt has it's own bathroom adjacent on the deck and sits in it's own private garden looking out over the meadow.

The yurt is pretty and very comfortable. From the antique double brass bedstead, cotton bedlinen and blankets, to the wonderfully comfy armchair to curl up and read by the fire. Lloyd Loom chairs and table to eat at, a dresser containing everything you could need to eat, drink and be merry. Marble top stand with stove and kettle and cool box. clothes storage and easy to use wood burning stove with logs and kindling. Lit by candle lanterns and solar bedside lights for reading. Small details like books, games and binoculars are provided. Various teas, fresh coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits are all provided with milk in the coolbox. The bathroom is next to the yurt up on the deck and is beautifully done, with an excellent hot power shower, loo and sink, towels provided. A small lobby has electric points for charging phones, a hair dryer and there is also a small fridge and toaster.

The yurt is positioned on a deck, in it's own garden overlooking the meadow and the sunset. Garden furniture and a BBQ and Chimenea are all provided. Please bring your own BBQ charcoal. It's a great spot to enjoy a glass of fizz as the sun sinks and the owl flies across the meadow on his evening hunt.

The owners deliver a delicious breakfast in baskets to the yurt. Breads, croissants, eggs to boil, fresh fruit, yoghurt and fruit juice. Though please note, during Covid 19, this will change slightly by putting all your breakfast items in the fridge and coolbox in the yurt for you to help yourself to. The owners will try to minimise contact and keep distance until safe to return to normal.

Many beautiful places to visit locally, Sissinghurst Garden, Great Dixter Garden, Chappel Down Vineyard, the beautiful town of Rye, the beaches of Camber and Winchelsea, and so many other hidden gems of Kent that we can tell you about. Also local kayaking and paddle boarding on the river with a great cafe.

At this challenging time the owners ask guests to be mindful of social distancing and to keep them informed of any changes to health before your visit. As hosts, they will also be vigilant of their own state of health and would seek to re arrange bookings if there was any need to do so both for the owners or guests who might have to cancel due to sickness.
