Description

Cruckbarn, is situated just outside the village of Wigmore, 10 miles from Ludlow and has commanding views out to the hills near Ludlow and the surrounding counties. Ideally located in woodlands with country walks on the doorstep it's an idyllic setting for a relaxing rural retreat. A village pub and shop are only 1 mile away and other local pubs and restaurants are in the surrounding villages and nearby Ludlow.

Cruckbarn, a converted barn has been lovingly built from 100 oaks, each over 100 years old which grew in the ancient woodlands nearby. With its traditional oak beams, underfloor heating, woodburning stove, open plan kitchen / living space and beautiful flooring, Cruckbarn has a tranquil ambience which continues outside where there is an outdoor firepit, tree swing, hammock (in the summer) and fabulous views.

The interior has been designed to suit families up to 5, couples or small group of friends. The mezzanine master bedroom has a king-sized bed, a further bedroom has a double bed and an additional single bed. Bed linen is provided.

With many modern facilities including a walk-in shower, a bath, washing machine, electric oven/hob, fridge freezer and all essential kitchen utensils, this holiday cottage meets all the necessary needs to enhance your stay, providing comfort and an abundance of relaxation.

This eco-friendly holiday cottage with many hand-built fixtures and fittings has a renewable energy source to heat the building. Underfloor heating and hot water are supplied by a ground source heat pump whilst the woodburner can be fed by a plentiful supply of logs, cut from the surrounding woodlands.

WiFi is available (but can be removed upon request). Mobile signal is strong for EE and most other network providers.
