Hand built log cabin sleeps 5 on a small farm in the Somerset countryside, close to the beaches at Burnham-on-Sea. This accommodation is dog friendly.
Deer Walk log cabin sleeps 5 in 1 double bedroom, 1 twin room and 1 single room with the double bedroom having direct access to the veranda. There is a large family bathroom with double ended bath plus a separate wet room with shower. The open plan living room with dining area and kitchen with all mod cons offers a great place for everyone to relax. In the evening, you can turn on the TV and watch a DVD whilst the flames of the log burner offer cosiness and warmth.
Outside you can relax on your veranda or enjoy dining al fresco on your private picnic table. Why not pop a few sausages on the BBQ for that authentic holiday feeling!
Located in the heart of the Somerset countryside but also close to the sea there are plenty of activities to enjoy including canoeing, kayaking, fishing, archery, target shooting and axe throwing. There are farm animals for neighbours and wildlife on the lake as well as lovely views.
Onsite there is a coffee shop and bar with craft beer and a farm shop which stocks local food and drink - great for lazy picnics, fun BBQ's and family feasts.
Should you wish to venture out there are many Somerset attractions within easy reach; Cheddar Caves, Wookey Hole, Glastonbury, Bath, Bristol and Wells, to name just a few. Why not take a day trip and explore the beautiful Mendip Hills with its limestone hills, lakes of the Chew Valley, rocky outcrops and flowering grasslands as well as history aplenty.
