Within a woodland clearing in the grounds of Staunton Harold Hill is Deerpark Lodge. The lodge, overlooking the stunning parkland, fits right into its surroundings with a wooden plank exterior. The location and surroundings make it a perfect place for up to 6 people to retreat to.

On the ground floor there is an open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with access to the garden and large decking area plus a double bedroom and an en-suite walk in shower room. The first floor consists of a double room, twin bedroom (with beds that can be locked together to create a double bed) and a family bathroom.

The accommodation is self-catering so also contains an electric cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment (there is also a full size fridge/freezer connected to the garden shed), dishwasher, washer/dryer, TV, DVD player, central heating and a large wood burning stove. Outside there is a BBQ and garden furniture.

The Staunton Harold Estate is a traditional country estate that includes roughly 2,000 acres of land. The lodge is located on the border of North West Leicestershire and South Derbyshire. Guests have access to the craft centre, tea rooms, delicatessen, garden nursery, fishing by the magnificent lakes and access to 28 acres of private land which is otherwise not open to the public. There is also an abundance of scenic walks in the surrounding areas or if you fancy a fun family day out Alton Towers is around a 50 min drive away.

Up to 2 dogs are welcome (small additional charge per dog). No smoking. Parking is available. There is a travel cot, stair gate and highchair available on request.

Minimum stay is 3 nights. No arrivals on Saturdays or Sundays.
