Duck Hut at Church Farm is a beautifully crafted shepherd's hut for 2 in Somerset. It enjoys a lovely private setting and a charming interior with a cosy wood burner and fantastic attention to detail. Reserve a dip in the on site hot tub.

Duck Hut offers a wood burner, solid oak dining table for 4 and a comfortable double bed with designer linen. The well-equipped kitchen has a fridge, hob, sink, microwave and hand-painted crockery. There is a plumbed in loo and shower and outside guests can enjoy alfresco dining in the private garden.

The shepherd's hut is set in its own private garden on Church Farm in Compton Dundon, Somerset. It is a rural village location with the pub just a short walk away. Somerton and Glastonbury are only 10 minutes away. Baltonsborough is a charming, historic village with a 15th century church and pub which are within short walking distance across the fields. For a variety of shops and other facilities, just a few miles away is Glastonbury.

Why not take a day trip and explore the beautiful Mendip Hills with its limestone hills, lakes of the Chew Valley, rocky outcrops and flowering grasslands as well as history aplenty.

The nearest airport is Bristol Airport, about an hour away whilst 10 miles from the cottage is Castle Cary train station.

Bedding and towels are provided as are logs for the wood burner. One well behaved dog welcome upon request - no extra charge.

There is also a hot tub in the garden which is for shared use. You can reserve to use this via a simple booking system.

During June-October, bookings that include a Saturday need to be for a minimum of 2 nights.

Single nights possible midweek, and any time from November to May.
