The owners of this 1940’s themed shepherds hut go the extra mile to ensure you have a lovely stay. The woodfired hot tub and pizza oven work effectively. There is a covered outdoor seating area and garden so plenty to keep you outside, and indoors the woodburner keeps the en-suite hut toasty warm.

Description

This, multi award winning, Shepherd's hut inspired by Esme, a 1940's Land-girl, is situated in an orchard garden of a beautiful village in South Somerset and sleeps 2 people. Enjoy ensuite facilities, a kitchenette, log-fired Pizza Oven/BBQ. There is a private wood fired hot tub for guests use. 2 bags of logs are included, and more can be purchased.

The hut itself has been finished to a luxurious level with a comfortable bed and en-suite shower room with flushing toilet. Add to this a kitchenette with induction hob, kettle and small fridge and with the log fired pizza oven/BBQ and Hot Tub you have everything you need to enjoy dining al fresco in your private garden area. There is wifi in the hut plus a selection of cards and games that have been left for your playing pleasure.

Located in the village of Haselbury Plucknett, the local pub is just a short walk away, as is the church which you can see from your hut. Locally you can enjoy walking The Liberty Trail or visit the National Trust Montacute House, where many a period drama has been filmed. For the more adventurous guest try your skills at paddle boarding along the Jurassic coast or just a half hour drive away you can discover the Blackdown Hills with its pretty villages, beautiful landscape of valleys and rivers, plus history aplenty.

1 small dog welcome for a cost of £20 per stay. Ingredients for full english breakfast can be added for a fee. Request with the owner.
