Historic style cottage with modern touches sleeps 4 in the fishing village of Staithes, just 20 minutes from the sandy beaches at Whitby.

The cottage has an open plan kitchen diner on the ground floor with minimalist stylist which leads to a feeling of space and tranquility. Here you can enjoy using the pizza oven for a tasty treat. Up the wooden stairs with typical fisherman style rope handrail, you can discover the 2 double bedrooms with feature wallpaper and luxurious bijou chandeliers. The master bedroom has an en-suite with deep roll top bathtub and shower plus WC whilst the second bedroom has access to a toilet.

Up a few more stairs to the top floor and you can discover the beautiful and spacious living area, complete with wood burning stove and access to a wonderful terrace with dining area and views over the North Sea.

The village of Staithes is a must for exploring with its beach, art gallery and speciality shops. Locally the town of Whitby offers its famous 199 steps as well as its gorgeous 13th century abbey that inspired the literary masterpiece of Bram Stoker's Dracula.
