At Flamboyant B&B;, your stay will be just that little bit different. Romantic and authentic in a renovated Portuguese windmill, or stylish and contemporary in one of the three spacious suites. All the rooms are set independently from each other, giving you all the privacy you could wish for, with that essential vacation feeling of calm and 'coming home'.

Sleeping in the windmill will be a unique experience, since it’s a protected Portuguese cultural heritage. But it is refurbished to become a comfortable, stylish suite room. The windmill (32m²) accommodates up to two people. You sleep upstairs, under the circular roof vault. On the ground floor you will find a seating area and a newly build bathroom with rain shower, toilet and sink.

Suite Dreams, Suite Smile and Suite Love are spacious, modern suite rooms of 32m², independently set in the garden with a great view over the swimming pool and coastal forest. Your home-from-home boasts a separate bedroom with a large double bed (160×200cm), seating area with sofa. Thanks to the partition wall between the bedroom and living area, two separate private rooms can be created. The bathroom comes with an invigorating rain shower, sink and toilet.

Each morning, you can start the day with an extensive organic breakfast buffet (included in the price): freshly squeezed orange juice, herbal teas, fresh coffee, cheeses, cold meats, fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, power foods, homemade marmalade and jam, a “hottie of the day”, sweets and for those who like it flamboyant: Portuguese ‘champagne'.

Room amenities

On offer is free Nespresso, organic tea, water, cake, cookies and fresh fruit. The bath products in the bathroom and the Wi-Fi are also included in the price.

The rooms are complemented by a noiseless Smeg minibar, with a selection of friendly priced drinks and small snacks. Note that the minibar is exclusively intended for the storage of items from Flamboyant B&B.;

The rooms are cleaned daily and used towels replaced on demand. Linen is changed depending on the length of your stay.

The extensive breakfast buffet with organic, local and home made products is included in the price and is served between 8:30hr and 11:00hr.

No picnicking in the rooms, nor elsewhere on site allowed. There are plenty of picnic areas, eateries, snack bars and restaurants in the area. Besides, eating out in Portugal is amazingly cheap.

Location

Flamboyant B&B; lies in the coastal village of Serra do Bouro with Foz do Arelho (5km South) and São Martinho do Porto (5km North) as the nearest beaches.

A rental car is an absolute necessity.

Flamboyant B&B; is geographically ideally located to discover central Portugal and the Silver Coast, one of the most interesting regions of Portugal with a diverse range of UNESCO cultural heritage, wide beaches, nature parks, gastronomy...

Peniche, Nazaré, Óbidos, Alcobaça, Batalha, Fátima, Tomar are quickly and easily accessible from Flamboyant B&B.; Also Lisbon, Sintra, Mafra and Ericeira can be visited by guests from here.
