Description

Retreat to this adult only cosy lodge with private hot tub and enjoy reconnecting with your loved one near Raglan.

The lodge is kept warm with underfloor heating and is well insulated so suitable for all year round stays. There is an open plan bedroom and lounge area with a comfy double bed, sofa for 2, wall mounted TV, large selection of DVD's and games plus a coffee table. Relax in bed with your morning cuppa taking in the views of the countryside through the large windows, that let in plenty of light or alternatively close the curtains, put on a movie and snuggle up to your partner and watch it from the bed or sofa. A large curtain separates this area from the dining room and kitchen to give complete privacy and comfort. The kitchen itself is well designed with a fridge, microwave, small oven and hob plus the obligatory kettle and toaster. Here you can cook a delicious meal with your loved one which you can eat inside or al fresco at the picnic table. The heated bathroom facilities are right next door to the lodge and include a sink, heated towel rail, shower & toilet.

Heading outside, you can breathe in the fresh Welsh air, taking in the sights and sounds of nature around you. Sit back on the reclining chairs and take in some sunshine or head to the large hot tub where you can sink into the warm bubbles and feel all your stresses fade away. Of an evening you can pop some sausages on the BBQ or toast some marshmallows on the firepit whilst taking in the starry night sky.

The stunning 15th century ruins of Raglan Castle are just over 2 miles away and here you can explore the architectural remains of its time as a castle and manor house. Walkers will delight in the nearby Wye Valley Area of Natural Beauty with its rolling hills, woodlands and river where you can enjoy a spot of wild swimming - if you are brave enough! Alternatively just under a half hour drive away you can discover the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park. After a day exploring you can visit one of the nearby pubs, brasseries or inns for a delicious meal.

No children or pets.

There is a minimum 2 night stay in general with a minimum 3 nights in July and August and at Christmas, New Year and during bank holiday weekends.
