Day 10 of The Quirky Tour and Jess and Dom enjoyed a visit to Hop Barn in Worcestershire.

Find out more about their visit:

First Impression:

Gorgeous old building - everything is pleasing to the eye.

It was really lovely to meet Louise, Tony & Rebecca after working with them since 2015.

The Accommodation:

Most of the property is on the second floor with beautiful beams and window in the living area there, plus a country style kitchen diner area.

The main bedroom has an extra single/double bed should parents wish for children to be in with them, or a separate twin bedroom if preferred, with a maximum 5 guests in total.

This property is good for families as the games room is nearby which has much to entertain all ages. You can request a cot if needed.

Food and Drink:

The owners leave you a quality hamper which includes a bottle of their own apple juice! There is a good kitchen inside including an oven so home cooking is easily done.

There are walks to several nearby pubs. We went to the Fox & Hounds for a hearty lunch which is a 45 minute walk away (or 10 minutes in the car), but they will also deliver meals if you prefer.

Jess' top tip:

There is so much to do on this site, with a tennis court, animals to visit, a seasonal heated pool (with private session times) and a quirky games room with woodburner.

We loved using the animal webcam on the TV, from which we saw badgers and deer in their natural habitat on the site!

I would recommend this place for a holiday, not just a short break.
