Day 11 of The Quirky Tour and Jess and Dom enjoyed a visit to the Luxury Waterside Lodge in Herefordshire.

First Impression:
A pretty corner plot where you can settle in and make yourself at home. Bring food and drink and there will be no need to leave if you don’t want to!
You can rotate between the hot tub, waterside outdoor seating and indoor woodburner to your hearts content.
Great to meet Helen after working with her since 2016. She really does care about her guests.
The Accommodation:
This lodge has a living area with cosy woodburner, full kitchen, shower room and from the bedroom doors there is a mini balcony with table and chairs overhanging the water, the ideal spot for your morning coffee.
On the other side of the building there is decking with outside table and chairs and a large jacuzzi hot tub. The decking extends to the waters edge with places to recline and relax.
The lakeside location is really pretty and great for those looking to fish during their stay. You may even spot some wildlife around!
There is also a large lawn so great for families looking for lots of space.
Food and Drink:
The owners leave you some starter bits for your arrival: tea, coffee, sugar, oil, salt, pepper and hampers can be ordered too.
If you are looking to eat out, then nearby Hereford offers a multitude of eateries for you to explore.
Jess' top tip:
Take time to simply relax and take in the view of the lake from your balcony or relax on the comfy day bed!
Alternatively head to the skies with a helicopter flight experience.
