Day 33 of The Quirky Tour and Jess and Dom enjoyed a visit to Shepherd's Huts with Hot Tub & Pool in East Yorkshire, England.

First Impression:
Settle in and relax or explore the Wolds or the rugged East Yorkshire coast, and even book time in the seasonal pool for a small fee.
Great to meet owner Mandy who kindly showed us around the site and with whom we have worked since spring 2021.
The Accommodation:
Located close to the East Yorkshire Wolds these shepherd's huts are all different but each sleep 2 adults only for a romantic break with each one having a private hot tub.
The huts have shared use of The Lambing Shed - which has a kitchen diner area with cosy log burner where you can hang out for a change of scene.
There is a communal outdoor space and pizza oven here too and guests can choose to add a continental breakfast at an additional cost.
There is also a lawn area with a double swing chair for guests use and a heated pool which guests can arrange a time slot for a small fee from April to September (perhaps longer depending on the weather).
Food and Drink:
You can bring food and drink with you as the huts have basic self catering facilities plus access to The Lambing Shed as described above.
If you wish to dine out then the Bosville Arms in Rudston is a lovely community pub that is about 3 miles away, which is walkable.
And if you forget to bring anything then Hunmanby has a Co-Op and some takeaway restaurants.
Jess' top tip:
We enjoyed a lovely cliff top walk here from Danes Dyke to Flamborough Head where there is a lighthouse.
Hunmanby Gap Beach is a delightful place to spend time with your loved one with its golden sand being the gateway to the Yorkshire Wolds. Stunning scenery abounds here.
Alternatively a visit to the Spirit of Yorkshire distillery in Hunmanby is a great way to learn about the process of whisky making. Here you can join a tour, sample some whisky or enjoy a cuppa and a piece of cake at their cafe.
