Day 14 of The Quirky Tour and Jess and Dom enjoyed a visit to The Tower GP in Powys.

First Impression:
Wow! This is just gorgeous. Climb the winding staircase to arrive at your own cosy slice of history within stunning surroundings.
The Accommodation:
The tower is a fairly compact living space with woodburner, quirky TV, kitchenette with oven and hob and a seating area.
Head through the secret bookshelf style door and you will find a romantic separate bedroom and bathroom. There are beautiful windows and historic features throughout.
The tower is set on a vast estate of 400 acres of public parkland and you can walk along the river to the local town of Crickhowell.
Food and Drink:
The tower is self catering with an oven and hob so you can enjoy romantic nights in with your loved one. There is a pub on site and village of Crickhowell is a short drive away!
Jess' top tip:
Enjoy lots of walks around the site, the beauty of nature is incredible. History enthusiasts will love a trip to the fully restored medieval Tretower Court and Castle - well worth a visit!
