Day 36 of The Quirky Tour and Jess and Dom enjoyed a visit to these Warwickshire Pods.

Find out more about their visit:

First Impression:

There are a selection of wooden pods with hot tubs on a gorgeous estate. A lovely place to spend time as a couple, family or friends together.

It was so lovely to meet Melanie, the owner, and her team at last. We have worked with them since 2017.

The Accommodation:

Set just half an hour from historic Stratford-upon-Avon, there is a choice of pods on this friendly site, each with a private outlook with hot tub.

Choose from a romantic treehouse style pod for 2 or a family sized pod for up to 4 guests. All pods come complete with a kitchenette inside and a BBQ outside for al fresco cooking.

There is also the opportunity to book 4 pods with a central cabin with kitchenette and living room with one large hot tub. These are only booked out together for up to 8 guests. This is a great way to spend time together but having your own sleeping pods spread around a grassed area.

Relax on your terrace during the day, in the hot tub, or make the most of the region. If you want to stay in at night there is TV and Wifi to keep you entertained.

Food and Drink:

There is a kitchenette in the pod so you can knock up simple meals and supplies can be bought in nearby Henley-in-Arden.

We stopped off for an amazing Thai lunch in an otherwise typically English pub just down the road from here - The Bull’s Head - this should not be missed.

I recommend the monkfish yellow curry particularly. You may need to book ahead for an evening slot.

Jess' top tip:

There are some lovely walks in the local area and next door to the site is a horse riding and wake boarding centre where you can enjoy hours of fun.

The nearby village of Henley-on-Arden is very appealing for a wander around and within just half an hour drive you can visit stunning Stratford upon Avon.

Even if you are not a Shakespeare fan you can’t help but enjoy a river walk with swans to admire, a boat trip, a riverside pub stop at Cox's Yard, The Dirty Duck or The Boathouse.

Whilst here you can also marvel at the many Tudor beamed historic properties on the high street. Dom and I both really liked the atmosphere of the place and would definitely return.
