This cottage is a suite that adjoins the main house of the New Inn and dates back to the 1700's. Inside is a cosy lounge with wood burner, a kitchen with oil fired rayburn and retro electric hob (plus a modern oven) and a bathroom with small bathtub. Upstairs there is a king size bedroom with 2 single beds on the landing. These rooms are separated by a thick curtain.

Outside you can relax in your private garden, taking in the sights and sounds of nature around you. This offers the perfect place to enjoy your morning cuppa whilst planning your day or simply collecting your thoughts.

Locally you can walk the famous Offa's Dyke Path, visit the Small Breeds Farm Park and Owl Centre or take a trip to the literary Hay-on-Wye. Here you can drive up to the Bluff, only 8 minutes from Hay, to the top of the Black Mountains with breath taking views and walks. Alternatively take to the water and try your hand at canoeing - a fun and unique experience for everyone. The Warren is a riverside beach accessible from Hay-on-Wye, with its expanse of fields along the River Wye. Food buffs will enjoy a delicious meal at Rhydspence Inn which is just a 40 minute stroll away through the country lanes, the perfect way to work up an appetite.

There is a Wood Fired Norwegian Sauna on site. This can be fired on request for £10 each session of 1 hour, for each group of people......this is proving very popular and what better way to celebrate !!!

Children are welcome from 7 years on, but the properties have not been designed with children in mind. Please bear in mind this is a historic cottage with olde world charm and original features.

Dogs welcome for a charge of £20. Strictly no puppies.

The first basket of wood will be provided, the ones after £7 each, you're very welcome to bring your own.

No loud music. Closed in winter.

There is a minimum 3 night stay.
