Gurnard Cottage can be found at St Catherine's Lighthouse in the Isle of Wight. The cottage sleeps 5 people, has spectacular coastal views over the sea and is within easy reach of beaches.

The cottage has a large well equipped modern kitchen which leads through to a spacious dining room. The living area has comfy leather sofas and here you can relax with the TV/DVD or listen to some music on the CD player. The cottage stays warm and cosy with electric convector heating and an electric 'wood burning stove effect' fire.

The cottage houses 3 bedrooms, all on the ground floor. There is a bright and airy kingsize double bedroom as well as a calming twin bedroom and single room. All rooms have a chair and storage. There is also a family bathroom with bath with shower over the top.

Outside you can relax in your fully enclosed private court yard furnished with an outside table and chairs, enjoying al fresco dining. Alternatively take to the other side of the property where you can find a shared grass area and bench, the ideal place to sit back and relax with a good book or simply listen to the sounds of the coast.

The coastal resort of Ventnor which is the Southernmost point of the Isle of Wight is a 10 minute drive away. Recommended nearby places for day trips include Robin Hill Park and Gardens, the family friendly Isle of Wight Zoo, Seaview Wildlife Encounters, Isle of Wight Military History Museum, Carisbrooke Castle, Brading Roman Villa and also, Arreton Old Village. The popular beaches within easy reach include Ventnor beach, Shanklin beach, Freshwater Bay and Sandown beach.

Up to 2 well behaved dogs are allowed at a cost of £25 for one and £35 for two. No smoking. A travel cot and highchair are available upon request.

There is a minimum 3 night stay with anyday arrival. However in July and August there is a minimum 7 night stay with Saturday arrival.
