Almost entirely powered by renewables, the ethos is one of optimal living. The site is the perfect getaway nestled in nature. This cute and quirky Bell Tent sleeps up to four people, so perfect for couples or families. Fitted with colourful and homey bohemian furniture, this bell tent offers a level of comfort that just cannot be achieved on the standard camping holiday. Although there are 7 Bell Tents in total spread across the site, each location has been carefully considered to ensure every guest’s privacy and relaxation. Fitted with a double and single bed, with the option to add an extra mattress for an additional charge, and cosy linens it’s an unmissable experience. The bell tents use the modern garden wash house facilities nearby.
Fully catered, the brand-new Garden Kitchen is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner for all guests from Monday to Sunday. The kitchen cooks seasonal, organic food using the astonishing diversity of fresh vegetables, fruit, flowers and herbs picked daily from the garden just metres away. The seasonal, hyper-local menu is designed to highlight the delicious produce from our garden and key local suppliers. Inspired by their own produce, we will always have dishes for vegetarians and vegans.
The beautiful lake for wild swimming and water-based adventures is flanked by the lakeside shellhouse. Sprawling lawns, a chalk stream for morning dips, woodlands which fuel greencrafts and hide treehouses, a heated pool in a paved suntrap for serious R&R; and unlimited spaces in which you can unplug to recharge. Horse Chestnut Bell Tent has all this to offer and so much more to make your stay unbelievably magical.
There is a 2-night minimum stay Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and a 3 night minimum stay on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Check in 4pm / Check out 10am.

The bell tents are closed in winter so never get overly cold, however we provide hot water bottles in case you get chilly.
Do you supply towels?We supply one towel per guest for use in the washroom. Please bring your own towels for swimming.
Is there a lifeguard at the pool?No, we do not have a lifeguard, so you are responsible for yourself and other members of your party.
Is there power in the tents?No, there is no power in the tents.
