Il Baciarino

Vetulonia, Toscana, Italy

Rustic cottages in an oak grove with endless views of Tuscany's Maremma region, each with private soaking tub in private gardens.

Description

Il Baciarino consists of five minimalist cottages with spectacular views on the outskirts of Vetulonia, one of the jewels of the Etruscan Maremma, Tuscany's wild and unexplored coastal region.

The picturesque hill town overlooks the surrounding plains and the Tyrrhenian Sea in the distance and is a good base for many great beaches 20 kms away at Castiglione della Pescaia, Siena 65 km, Florence 160 km, Pisa 150 km and Rome 180 km.

Some of the most beautiful villages of Tuscany are nearby.

The five cottages, three sleep 2 people, two larger ones can accommodate 3-4 guests, are located in a 19 hectare olive and oak grove, with a view over the gentle hills and the vegetation of the Macchia Mediterranea and the sea in the distance.

It is a great place to relax and unwind in contact with nature.

Private dinner is available on request using only fresh local ingredients and seasonal seafood.

The village centre of Vetulonia is close by with a coffee bar and alimentari, and there is private parking in the village 200 metres from the cottages.

Casetta La Dolce Vita has a double bedroom on the upper level, a living room and bathroom with shower on the ground level - each level with access to sunny outdoor decks. Outside there is an outdoor kitchen on the shaded patio with hammock and a vast private area where sun beds and a wood fired cold/hot tub await (€25/35 for use).

Casetta La Quercia + La Quercia have a double bedroom and ensuite bathroom with shower, plus outdoor kitchenette and dining table under the shaded patio and a vast private garden area with sun beds, hammock and cold/hot tub (€25/35 for use).

For families traveling with children Casetta La Farfalla offers a double bedroom and hidden bunk bed nook and Casetta La Luccuola offers a double bedroom and open loft space with futon bed.
