A cosy 3 bedroom cottage at Start Point lighthouse, positioned on the edge of a cliff with spectacular sea views on a headland above Start Bay in the South Hams. Sleeps 5 people.

The cottage has a well equipped kitchen, cosy sitting room with electric effect wood burner, TV/DVD and CD player plus a bright dining dining room all on the ground floor. Upstairs you can discover 2 double bedrooms and a single bedroom plus a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. For comfort at all times of the year there is oil central heating to keep you warm and toasty.

Outside there is a small gravel area with a stone table seating perfect for relaxing and admiring the sea view.

Exceptional scenic walks can be taken in both directions along the headland - be careful of the cliff edge at all times. There are also lovely cycle routes and water activities that can be done in the area.

Start Point is 4 miles along meandering country lanes from the main road from where you can easily travel to further away places and the neighbouring villages. Within 20 minutes in the car there are sandy beaches, East Portlemouth, Slapton and Blackpool Sands.

Up to 2 dogs are welcome for an additional fee. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate is available if needed. Small babies are welcome at the property, however for safety reasons, children must be over 11 years old.

There is a 3 night minimum stay. In July and August there is a Saturday changeover day with a minimum 7 night stay.
