Quirky rural completely detached retreat for a couple in a peaceful & private location within easy walking distance of Lake Windermere & bustling Bowness village in the Lake District. This contemporary bolthole is surrounded by greenery & benefits from a private outdoor hot tub under cover, perfect for all year round use.

The property has a private entrance and off-road parking space, it's detached and all on one level with a cosy cabin feel to it - you can totally isolate yourself here with your partner if you wish. There's a contemporary living area/bedroom with wall mounted smart TV, double bed with memory foam mattress & comfy armchairs with an occasional table. This room has double glazed patio doors opening onto a lovely sunny balcony with rattan armchairs & bistro table and overlooking a private courtyard with a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. It's a great place to sit and chill out and you can happily while away your time here delighting in the peace and tranquillity.

The private outdoor area also incorporates a state of the art hot tub which is undercover & literally on your doorstep. There's also a bistro table & chairs undercover and a charcoal BBQ (uses picnic type trays) for guests to enjoy some al-fresco dining. The spa hot tub is a great way to relax & unwind with your partner after a busy day in the lakes & as it's under permanent cover it's available to enjoy at any time of year regardless of the weather. All outdoor areas have interesting contemporary lighting.

There's a luxury contemporary shower room with underfloor heating, a power shower, heated towel rail & illuminated mirror. Towels, bathrobes & hairdryer are provided.

The kitchen area has cabinet lighting, underfloor heating and a fridge & dishwasher, there's a butcher's block and a microwave oven with grill, kettle & toaster for guests to prepare breakfast & snacks (please note there's no conventional cooking equipment). Crockery, cutlery and cleaning materials are all provided.

Longtail Loft is the perfect base for a couple wishing to explore the Lakes & return to a cosy retreat with a private spa hot tub.

The nearby tourist village of Bowness-on-Windermere is within easy walking distance (about £4 by cab) has an abundance of restaurants, cafes & bars to suit all tastes & budgets & you'll find some interesting individual shops & many cultural activities. Lake Windermere offers cruises that operate daily taking in some amazing scenery & wonderful tourist attractions. Alternatively the more adventurous can try their hand at a range of different sporting activities including canoeing, kayaking, sailing or rowing on the Lake. Cycling, horse riding, 4x4 off-roading & golf are all readily available nearby.

Hot tub use is from 10am - 10pm and music outdoors is restricted to use only with headphones as it's a peaceful area.

No children or pets. Not suitable for people with limited mobility as there are a number of steps leading to the Loft.
