Description

Beautiful and traditional 61ft narrow boat decorated with love, offers a truly tranquil stay for couples and families on the Grand Union Canal starting at North Kilworth Marina.

The boat has a glorious oak interior and has full central heating for even the coldest of nights. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, 3 ring gas hob and a cute whilstling kettle for that morning cuppa. Whilst preparing dinner you can pop on the DAB radio and listen to your favourite tunes. The living area has a comfy sofa bed that pulls out to sleep 2 guests and you can relax here with the TV, or enjoy a board game or two at the compact table.

When it comes to bedtime, there are 2 cabin areas, one with double bed and pull down TV and another with 2 singles that can be joined to make another double. The on board shower room with modern shower cubical and up to date pump out toilet sits comfortable between these two rooms.

At the bow of the boat, there is a seating area for 4 guests, the ideal spot for that evening tipple as the sun goes down whilst the stern can accommodate a maximum of 2 guests and has a handy flask holder where you can pop your warm drink to enjoy whilst steering the boat.

This type of holiday gives you the freedom to explore as much or as little as you like. The famous Foxton locks (the largest staircase on the British Canal System) is just a 2.5 hour cruise north and here you can visit the Foxton Museum or simply watch the colourful boats pass by the locks. Not far from here is Market Harborough, a busy market town that offers several pubs for that much needed refreshment.

Children welcome. Up to 2 small/medium size dogs are welcome at an extra charge of £30 each per stay.

There is a 7 night stay with Saturday arrivals.

Check in is at 2.30 and you will receive a mandatory 1 hour induction course on how to drive the narrowboat.

Please note 5% of profits are donated to Motor Neurone Disease assossiation and the owners are very proud to be unique.
