Millpool is a fully disabled accessible carriage with a dedicated car parking space adjacent to the carriage with level, step-free access to the accommodation. It is also suitable for the able-bodied and retains much of its railway carriage charm with many original features including picnic basket signs, cast iron luggage racks and brass match strikers. Sleeping 2+1, with a double bedroom (or single adjustable bed) plus another single/sofabed in the lounge diner area. It features a wet room with fold down shower seat and ample hot water. There is central heating and a galley kitchen with fridge, hob and oven with microwave and grill.
Outside there is an enclosed patio and garden area with BBQ facilities for your enjoyment.
On site there is use of a children's play area, games room with air hockey table,washing machine, dryer and freezer plus unrestricted free broadband access. Guests also have access to 10 acres of woodland to explore! If coming with a little one, a cot and high chair can be used at no extra cost.
Dogs can be accepted with prior arrangement at a cost of £25 each per stay.
St German's is a small village with a population of 600. There is a great village pub, a community shop and Post Office. The Quay, with the viaduct towering above it and its sailing club, is a popular spot. The old part of the village, which includes the railway station, is virtually unspoilt and has been made a Conservation Area.
