Unique getaway set on a rural farm near Devizes in Wiltshire, which has been inspired by Tolkien's literary masterpiece sleeps up to 4 guests for a family fun adventure or rural escape for 2 couples.

The house is set all on ground level and is entered via a colourful red round door as in keeping with this type of story tale home. Inside the property there is a fully equipped bespoke kitchen (including dishwasher and Nespresso machine) plus a cosy living and dining area with a gas fired wood burner and rustic hand made dining table where you can enjoy playing the supplied board games, planning your stay or listening to the radio with bluetooth speaker.

When it comes to the end of the day you can freshen up in the woodland style shower room before heading to your bedroom at the back of the house. There is one double bedroom plus one bedroom that can be a king size double or a twin room thus giving you the flexibility to enjoy this property as you wish.

Outside the house has been given a naturally flowering eco friendly grass roof to encourage bees and other insects as well as a beautifully planted garden area. Here you can sink into the warmth of your private well style hot tub, where you can enjoy the meadow views or relax around your firepit with your favourite drink in hand, gazing up at the starry night sky.

On site there is plenty to keep you occupied with archery, painting classes, laser shooting and disc golf all available. Alternatively book in for a fitness class followed up by a relaxing spa treatment - perfection! If you like to eat out when on holiday then you are in luck as there are a few pubs in the locality and Farmer Chris will happily taxi you to one on his gator tractor, so you can arrive in style! If coming with children they will love the straw play arena and donkey rides.

Locally you can explore the stone circle at Avebury, spend a day at Bowood House and Gardens with its fantastic adventure playgrounds for children or have a fun filled time at Longleat Safari park where you can see lions, tigers, rhinos, wolves and more. Other local attractions include Caen Hill Locks, Stonehenge and Castle Combe - there really is something for everyone!
