Description
Gorgeous glamping style barn offers a rural retreat for 2 adults (with space for 2 children if required) on the edge of Snowdonia National park, near Betws-y-Coed.
The barn has been divided into 2 units, of which Owl Barn is one of them. Inside there is a large open plan space that has been cleverly separated into 2 sections through the use of a double sided fireplace. The lounge area has a comfy sofa and coffee table with access to a breakfast table where you can make yourself a cuppa and a piece of toast before heading out for the day. Behind the sofa an ingenious pull out bunk bed offers a super cosy space for 2 children if required.
The other side of the open plan space you can find your super kingsize double bed. What better way to fall asleep than watching the glowing embers and flames of the fire in front of you. From here there is access to a spacious modern bathroom with freestanding bath tub and walk in shower. The barn is proud to be eco friendly and as such bamboo loo roll is supplied as well as underfloor heating for cosy toes using a ground source heat pump.
Outside the barn you can discover your al fresco kitchen area with BBQ , single gas hob and fire pit. Enjoy dining outside taking in the views or sitting back on the supersize bean bags and taking in the stunning starry night sky.
The barn has been designed with no wifi or technology to distract you so you can get back to what is important in life - reconnecting with your loved ones and the beauty of the world around you.
Whilst here there is a plethora of activities that you can throw yourself into, such as walking, cyling, packrafing and the world's longest underground zip wire course, if you prefer to keep the adrenalin levels to a minimum then there is a fabulous range of castles, gardens and art galleries all within driving distance.
Children welcome. No pets.
In low and mid season there is anyday arrival with a minimum 2 night stay. In high summer season there are arrivals on a Monday and Friday with a minimum 4 and 3 night stay respectively.

FAQs
No, each end of the barn has its own private outdoor kitchen and seating area.
Is there a pub within walking distance?Well - walking distance is a bit like string - how long is it? You can walk to a pub in Betws-y-Coed in about an hour and a half so ideal for a pub lunch but less ideal for an evening out. And there are no taxis here.
Are you near (Mount) Snowdon? There are a number of different routes up Snowdon which we are happy to advise on. Pen y Pass is the popular starting point and can be reached by car in 30 minutes from here although parking MUST be booked in advance with Snowdonia National Park. Other routes' start points are further away but more accessible by car. We're always happy to advise.
Where is the nearest shop for food?Betws-y-Coed has a Spar and a Londis which are good for just grabbing milk or something you've forgotten. Llanrwst has a Co-op and 2 excellent butchers selling excellent local lamb and beef. There's also a bakery and a greengrocers stall at the market on a Tuesday. The deli - Blas as Fwyd - stocks a good range of deli produce, much of it from Wales including a good range of cheeses. Their wine shop over the road is also excellent.
