If you and your partner like the idea of staying on a boat but not venturing from land then Oyster is the perfect boat for you! She is positioned on a quiet part of the Kingsbridge Estuary and offers a romantic and peaceful retreat for those looking for something different.

Whilst on board you can enjoy the rocking feel of the water beneath the boat at high tide and it coming to rest on the ground at low tide. There is a fold down double bed and a single burner for that all important morning cuppa on board whilst just 50 metres from the gangplank you can find your private shower and eco toilet. A chemical loo is available on board for those night time emergencies too!

Outside you can pull out the fold away chairs and soak up the sounds of nature around you and take time to reconnect with yourself and your partner or why not book a solo stay here, a great way to reflect on life. Spend time reading, doing a crossword or meditating, all those things you want to do but never seem to have time to do on a normal day.

Locally (if you can drag yourselves away from this idyll), you can visit the coastal town of Salcombe, easily accessed via a beautiful 20 minute walk to East Portlemouth, where you can catch the passenger ferry before enjoying a great pub lunch or trying your hand at a range of watersports. Alternatively borrow one of the free bikes on offer and explore the locality on two wheels.

Arrange to meet at the owner's property so they can take you to the boat and get you settled in.

There is a 2 night minimum stay and maximum 7 night stay.
