Norfolk is possibly most famous for The Norfolk Broads, and here you will find the Riverside Bungalow Patikipa for 2 guests. Situated on the River Thurne at Potter Heigham, Patikipa has been in the owner's family since the 2nd World War when it was bought as a peaceful escape by the grandparents and is one of the famous Thurne Bungalows.

Patikipa enjoys open views and river frontage to the front and open marsh views from the rear of the property. Many of the guests come year after year for the peace and tranquility and people often don't get into their cars until departure day. This is easily possible with dog-friendly cafes and public houses and local convenience stores nearby making this the ideal location to ‘get away from it all’. It is perfect for those wishing to pursue their hobbies; bird watch, fish, walk, sail, go boating, enjoy the seaside or simply unwind and chill.

The joy of this unique riverside bungalow is its position, enjoying uninterrupted views of the river, wildlife and countryside, yet still close to the local amenities that can be found in the Broadland Village of Potter Heigham, just a 5 minute walk away. You can walk straight from the back of Patikipa onto the Thurne river path for lovely walks alongside broadland marshes and the Hickling Norfolk Wildlife Trust, which also makes this cabin very popular with bird enthusiasts.

Patikipa sleeps 2, with one double bedroom with full size bed which will be made up for your arrival. The lounge has comfortable seating, television and DVD. The kitchen has table and chairs, oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave. The shower room offers heated towel rail, toilet, washbasin and enclosed shower. There is a washing machine and heating by electric heaters throughout. Patikipa is very well equipped with bedding, towels and tea towels provided and electricity is via a £1 coin meter. There is outside seating to sit and watch the river go by.

Please note that there is no car access to Patikipa, although car parking is close, 5/6 minutes away with an additional weekly charge for parking and access to Patikipa is via boat or footpath.

The owner is proud of this property which she personally manages and maintains to a very high standard. Her aim is to provide you with a stay that you will always remember, a stay that you will recommend to friends, want to return to and like most of the guests not want to leave!

One well behaved dog is welcome at a cost of £40 per week. Please note there is strictly a no smoking policy at Patikipa.
