Working family farm offers yurts, a shepherds hut and cottage near the spa town of Buxton.

Family run farm offers 2 yurts, 1 shepherd's hut and a holiday cottage, sleeping from 2 - 16 people in the peaceful area of Quarnford In the Peak District National Park.

This great location, allows you to kick back and relax and enjoy the tranquility of the Peak District. Locally you can visit the spa town of Buxton, with its famous Poole's Cavern, before taking a stroll through the country park woodlands to the panoramic viewpoint of Solomon’s Temple. The village of Bakewell, famous for its tart, is also home to the beautiful Chatsworth house, which with its art collection, stunning garden, working farmyard and adventure playground, has something for everyone to enjoy.

Back at the farm, you can choose to stay in one of four properties. The two yurts: Sunrise Yurt and Harvest Moon Yurt, both sleep up to 5 people with one kingsize bed and 2 double futons. The eco-friendly yurts are kept warm with a wood burner and are lit by twinkling solar powered fairy lights. The stargazing window at the top of the yurts offers you the chance to fall asleep whilst counting the stars at night whilst during the day a large window in the side of the yurts gives you fantastic views over the surrounding countryside. A breakfast hamper is ready for you on arrival, so you can be sure to fill your tummy before setting out to explore the local area.

Sheep Dreams Shepherds Hut is a hand crafted hut for 2, the perfect place for a busy couple to reconnect away from the world. With a luxurious king size double bed and wood burner, the hut stays lovely and cosy. A kitchenette area with Belfast sink, kettle and toaster allows you to enjoy tea and toast in the morning without leaving the comfort and warmth of the hut. With free wifi, you can still stay connected to the outside world, that's if you want to!

A Communal building offers a living area with kitchen with oven, microwave, utensils, America style fridge freezer, kettle and toaster and outside terrace, plus free wifi. There is also a modern bathroom block with 3 separate rooms, 2 with large showers and flushing toilets and the other with a free standing roll top bath and flushing toilet. Local toiletries are available for your use.

New Colshaw Holiday Cottage sleeps 4 people in one double and one twin room, so perfect for families. With a rustic design, including flagged stone floor and bare stone walls, this cottage makes you feel at one with nature. After a busy day exploring, enjoy dining al fresco with a BBQ in the garden before sinking into the warm bubbles of the roll top bath. Then sit back and relax in front of the open log fire in the living room with a good book in hand, the perfect way to end the day.

Yurts from £90 per night (low season) with a minimum 2 night stay. Shepherds Hut from £60 per night (low season) with a 1 night minimum stay. (Yurts open April - End of October)

Hut open all year round.

Holiday Cottage from £85 per night with a 2 night minimum stay and from £450 per week in low season.
