Description
Luxury modern pod with amazing vineyard views sleeps 2 guests in Stanton-on-the-Wolds and offers a rural retreat for those looking to get away from it all.
Inside the pod there is an open plan living, dining and kitchen area with a classic Alpine style wooden design with radiators in all areas to keep the pod warm and toasty all year round. Relax on the sofa watching the wall mounted TV, before cooking up a storm in the kitchen with the oven, hob or microwave. There is a mini breakfast bar area here for 2 - perfect for your morning cuppa or choose to eat at the dining table whilst planning your day. A separate double bedroom area with handy bedside tables and a small dressing table with large circular mirror offers tranquillity for an afternoon siesta whilst the en-suite shower room is well equipped with a heated towel rail and lighted wall mirror.
Outside you can relax on your terrace with a glass of wine (why not order in a locally made bottle made for your arrival!) or warm yourself by the fire pit. Be sure to bring some marshmallows to toast for a delicious gooey treat or enjoy cooking on the BBQ.
Locally you can delight in a tour of the vineyard or book into a tasting session. Alternatively take a stroll through the countryside or explore the Vale of Belvoir with its cycling routes, castle and delicious local cuisine. Belvoir Castle and the Engine Yard are both great places to visit and Sarfields Chocolaterie runs chocolate making courses and has a cafe with the best hot chocolate!
If you are looking for somewhere to eat then The Plough at Normanton is a wonderful country pub and restaurant that many guests visit. There are also a range of takeaways in Keyworth or we can organise a local Master Chef contestant to cook a private meal for you!
Sorry but as this is a working farm pets are not permitted.
Please note there is no door between the living area and bedroom area.
During high season & weekends there is a 2 night minimum stay. On bank holidays and Christmas/New Year there is a minimum 3 night stay.
