Enjoy a peaceful woodland setting in West Dorset close to Lyme Regis. Here you can find this brand new treehouse set in a clearing between mature oak trees in a secluded corner of a bluebell wood.

Pinwheel treehouse has all the luxuries and unique features you could wish for with a private hot tub, woodburning stove, wood-fired pizza oven plus BBQ and even a swing for those times you simply wish to have a little fun.

The pinwheel theme is shown in the way the rooms are arranged in a cross shape, shifted off centre to mimic a child's pinwheel windmill. This gives the treehouse a bright and open feel with large windows that face each point of the compass adding to this effect.

The treehouse is reached via a staircase and on entering you come into the central lounge with its comfortable L-shaped sofa which faces a gorgeous wood burner. There is a tranquil bedroom area with king size bed that can be closed off from the world and the morning sun via a sliding curtain. The modern sleek kitchen houses all you could need to cook up a delicious meal and you can choose whether to dine inside or al fresco. There is also an en-suite with proper flushing loo and a separate shower and dressing room.

Outside on your terrace you can enjoy the stunning views nature provides. Slip into the bubbles of the hot tub with your loved one, or pop a pizza in the oven and let the aroma delight you. Alternatively take the steps back to the ground level and enjoy a siesta in your private hammock.

The site is located in Holditch, Dorset. It is a private, quiet setting in the Dorset AONB very close to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, just south of Somerset and not far from Devon too. Locally you can enjoy a trip to Forde Abbey with its medieval monastery and beautiful gardens. Alternatively take a hike up to Pilsden Pen before taking a tour of the Black cow Vodka distillery nearby or head to the Blackdown HIlls AONB where you can discover valleys, forests, rivers and Iron Age history.

If you are looking to eat out then The Anchor Inn, on Seatown Beach and the Tytherleigh Arms (just over 2 miles away) are both highly recommended.

There is a minimum 2-night stay with Monday and Wednesday arrivals and a minimum 3 nights with a Friday arrival. Prices for a 2 night midweek stay is £990, whilst a 3 night weekend stay costs £1485.

There is a strong and fast 4G mobile signal for those who are not seeking a digital detox. No WiFi. No pets. No under 18's.
