Primrose is a beautiful narrowboat that has been designed with much love and care and sits moored at the wharf in Cadder, just 20 minutes from Glasgow. Sleeping 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 small children, it is fantastic for a romantic break or family staycation.

Please note that this is a static stay.

The boat has a small double bed and a standard double sofa bed, so you can enjoy lounging in different areas. There is a kitchenette area for cooking and also a BBQ outside on the dock where you can enjoy the sizzling aroma of a holiday. Kept warm by a Victorian woodburner, the boat is a cosy little haven, perfect for a spot of romance or for simply keeping snug whilst enjoying a board game, wifi or something on the TV. The onboard bathroom has a shower room with compost toilet. Please note the shower is only 175cm high, so taller guests will have to bend over a little!

Outside you can relax on the bow or the roof of the boat, taking in the sunshine, having a nap or simply listening to the sounds of nature around you.

Locally you can enjoy short drives to the nearby villages where you can dine or shop to your heart's content. There is also a retail park just a 10 minute stroll away if you wish to pick up some essentials. Adults will love a visit to the ruins of Mugdock Castle whilst children of all ages will enjoy a walk through the Gruffalo Trail nearby.

Due to the design of a narrowboat, Primrose is narrow at the stern and therefore the berth is slightly smaller than a double, as it narrows on one end. But there is also a standard double pull out sofa if guests feel a little too snug. The shower room is narrow at 53.5cm wide and 175cm high. Taller guests will have to bend a little whilst using the shower.

Because the boat is snug, it can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 small children. It cannot accommodate 4 adults.

There is a 2 night minimum stay.

One small dog welcome for free if just 2 adults are staying.
