This gorgeous 2 bedroom Riverside Lodge for 6 people, 4 in the Lodge and 2 people in the glamping pod, has an idyllic setting within the New Forest National Park. Sat on the edge of a small lake with views across the River Avon to the water meadows beyond from the front and an ancient woodland to the rear it offers true peace and tranquility. The Lodge consists of a spacious double bedroom with super king-sized bed that can be converted into 2 singles. From this room you can access the outside terrace, or simply enjoy the watery views from the warmth of your bed. There is also a well designed twin bedroom plus 2 bathrooms. The open plan lounge/ diner/ kitchen area is delightful and manages to feel spacious yet cosy at the same time with bi-folding doors on two sides that let the natural light stream into the room.

Why not enjoy your morning cuppa or lunchtime meal out on the verandah and truly soak up the beautiful surroundings. This gorgeous lodge also has underfloor heating throughout plus a wood burner, so is suitable to stay in all year round. The glamping pod is also included and provides accommodate for 2 people. The guests that stay in the glamping pod have access to a side door in the lodge that leads directly into a shower/toilet in the lodge.

As a self-catering accommodation, everything that you would need during your stay is provided. This includes a cafetiere, dishes and utensils, a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven, hob, toaster, fridge. There is also extras such as a hairdryer, internet, Sky TV (in the lounge and main bedroom), DVD player, stereo, an iron and board and fresh linen and towels are provided.

Along with the many sport and adventure activities to participate in nearby, there are many great leisure activities and attractions to try your hand at, including bird watching, horse riding, scenic drives, sightseeing and of course fishing on the River Avon, there are also many scenic walks to do around the area of the Lodge.

Despite being in a secluded and peaceful location, it's only a short distance till you reach many stores and cafes. Within 1 mile there is the nearest pub and restaurant. The closest airport is Southampton, and Bournemouth is 20 miles away, and Salisbury train station is 15 miles away. For a trip to the beach, you can go to Bournemouth.

Dogs welcome at a cost of £35 each but must be kept on a lead at all times when outside. No smoking, Car parking for 2 cars. Not suitable for children under 10 or those less mobile due to the steep walk down to the Lodge from the parking area and the surrounding lake and fast flowing river nearby. A trolley is provided to help with taking luggage down to the Lodge from the car park about 80 yards away.

There is a minimum of a 4-night break with Monday arrival, 2/3 night break with Friday arrival & 2 night break with Saturday arrival, but not at peak times. Full weeks are offered from a Friday at peak times.
